Great stay, property was very accessible to the beach, cute and clean. Parking was tight. Communication was great.

I had a great time at this place. The location is great with multiple shops and restaurants and coffee shops around. The only thing about the location to be aware of is that it can be loud at night as it is close to a few bars that play loud music. It was a holiday weekend, which may have impacted the noise too. It was nice to have a parking spot, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. The host was communicative. Unfortunately, the couch had been broken before I arrived and that was an added discomfort for me. But Alan told me about it before I arrived and check in was smooth. Overall, my stay was great. If you’re not visiting over a busy holiday and if the previous tenants don’t break the couch ;) I highly recommend staying here! I’ll be staying again for sure.

Love this small cozy studio. It was very quiet and welcoming, perfect for my husband and I. We were here for my nephew’s wedding and we love mission beach! So we will definitely be back, and we highly recommend it.

I contacted the owner about the stove not working the morning after we arrived.I had to wait for back and forth messages all day from him telling me to go buy a lighter (I did, still wouldn’t work), then he would say try this or that, then ask me to take a video. By that time it was later in the evening. Finally he said he would send a repair person, but he couldn’t be there until the following night at 7:00 pm. I was leaving the next morning at 10:00 so it wouldn’t help me. It would have nice to send a repair person when I first contacted him. I bought groceries to cook the first night and ended up having to eat out the whole time, which is expensive and not in the diet I follow for my health. He just said sorry for the inconvenience. And you can’t text his number, you have to message through the app, which meant all day as I was out trying to enjoy my trip, I had to log into the app, get a code, and wait to get an email back, them go back to the place, try the lighter or whatever he said, log back in, send him a message, wait for an email. It was not the way I wanted to spend my time.

Perfect little studio for two in a good area if you love bay AND beach and, of course, Mission Beach. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay, in particular the little outdoor terrace and our host was super responsive and very accomodating. Ideal as the studio has a parking if you come by car. We hope to return in the future.
